About KPCS - a friendly voice in an ocean of techno-babble
History: Based in Todmorden on the Lancashire-West Yorkshire border, Keith Parkinson
founded KPCS.net in 1998; providing an affordable website design / hosting /
domain registration service for small to medium enterprises, sole traders and
community groups. Before then Keith had worked as a freelance photographer,
then as a teacher of information technology and computing skills - first at
a comprehensive school in Halifax and then for Calderdale Community Education
Service. Keith is a keen runner and cyclist (when not injured!).
What's special: KPCS has never advertised in the conventional manner and nearly all our customers have come to us by personal recommendation from existing customers. Keith likes to establish an informal and friendly relationship with his customers and is a firm believer in talking over the telephone and/or meeting face-to-face to discuss individual requirements rather than relying on using website forms or emails as a sole method of communication. Customers are invoiced annually by email sent as PDFs with payment by bank transfer or cheque. No customer credit card is required.
